The Long Walk Galway
Regular price €250This kiln fused and hand painted glass captures the beauty of Galway's historical area known as The Long Walk, located beside the River Corrib, and opposite the famous fishing village, known as The Claddagh, which is part of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, and very popular with locals and visiting tourists to Galway City.
The kiln fused glass is painted by hand in our studios, and consists of three layers of different premium coloured glass, and is fired in a special glass kiln over a period of 48 hours at very high temperatures. Two swans are painted by hand onto the glass before the firing process, and two Galway hooker boats are sailing in the water.
This unique piece comes in a cream wooden chunky frame, with a white mount inside the glass, and is made locally. Other colour frames are available on request. (Cream frame size: 11.5" Tall x 14" Wide approx)
