"Bee Happy" Tea Light Holder

Introducing our latest creation, designed by our talented glass artist Kate, here in our studio by the sea. Kate, a passionate beekeeper who makes her own honey on the shores of Galway Bay, and has poured her love for bees into this unique piece.

We all know how important bees are in our lives. Bees are essential for the health of people and the planet. Not only do honey and other bee products have medicinal properties, but bees also play a critical role as pollinators, making them vital for our food supplies. A world without bees would face not just a shortage of honey, but also significant threats to global food security and biodiversity. The work that bees do is invaluable, and our world would be a very different place without them.

Kate draws her inspiration from the beautiful farm where she lives and keeps her beehives. This inspiration is vividly captured in our handmade "Bee Happy" Candle Tea Light Holder.

Product Details:

• Design: The tea light holder base is crafted from locally sourced spalted beech wood, each piece unique and different, adding a natural touch to the holder.
• Glass: Made from kiln-fused glass, this holder features multiple layers of transparent glass with a semi-transparent glass hive. Two buzzing bees hover around the hive, surrounded by lavender and flowers, creating a beautiful scene.
• Hand-painted Text and Details: The phrase "Bee Happy" is hand-painted above the hive on the glass, with charming little white hearts surrounding the text, adding a personal and cheerful touch. The glass is then fired in a kiln for up to 24 hours to ensure durability and brilliance.
• Assembly: Once the glass is complete, it is carefully glued overnight onto the spalted beech wooden handcrafted base.
• Functionality: Perfect for a battery-operated tea light, it emits a lovely golden glow, making it an ideal gift for bee lovers and a charming addition to any home.
