Lotus Flower – Stained Glass & Spalted Beech Lamp

Handmade in our studio by the sea, Lotus flower is a unique lamp inspired by the gentle form of a lotus flower and the shape of a ship’s porthole. A symbol of peace, renewal, and inner calm, the lotus flower is delicately crafted using the age-old Tiffany stained glass technique, with each petal shaped cut and soldered by hand.

The lotus rests at the centre of a hand-carved spalted beech wood ring, made locally by a skilled wood carver using ethically sourced Irish wood. The natural patterns of the spalted grain give each piece its own distinctive character, like driftwood shaped by time and tide.

Soft opal green and pink mottle glass are used for the petals, glowing softly when lit. The piece is finished in a pewter-aged patina, giving it an antique feel that contrasts beautifully with the natural wood.

Whether placed in a spa, reading nook, or restful home corner, The Lotus flower creates a serene atmosphere and serves as a gentle reminder to pause and breathe.

Each lamp is supplied with a rocker ON/OFF switch, on a gold coloured electric lead with a 13A 3 pin plug. Approx size: 11.5" wide x 11" tall x 2.7" deep.  All our lamps are supplied with an E27 L.E.D. bulb, and are P.A.T. tested. You can change the bulb types for a different atmosphere and look to the glass, changing its mood.
