"Wild Waves" from my wild atlantic way collection. Much of my work is inspired by the depths and movement of the oceans, my early walks on the local beach with my two dogs, before heading into the studio, and I am so lucky and grateful that my studio overlooks the sea, on the shores of Galway bay.... the gateway to Connemara.
Glass represents water beautifully, especially when the light catches it.
Handmade from layered aqua blue and crystal clear glass, fired in a special glass kiln over three days, and mounted on a white contemporary handmade wooden frame made locally.
