The "Poppy Garden" is made with multiple layers of different coloured premium glass melted at very high temperatures in a special glass kiln over a few days. No two images are ever the same, making each of them very unique.
The glass image is created with colourful bees dancing around the two poppies, which are created separately using a flame work torch, the background glass is a lovely wispy turquoise sky blue. The glasswork comes in a slim cream coloured wooden frame (made locally) with no border or outer clear glass. The poppies give the effect of 3D, due to the extra layers of glass added. Made in the Spiddal craft village, Co.Galway.
