Limited stocks available...Star of the sea glass star, inspired by my local church which looks straight out at the sea, and is called "Star of the sea".....
This star is made with iridescent crystal clear glass, with rainbow-like colours, that gradually changes colour as the angle of illumination changes. Examples of iridescence include soap bubbles, and seashell nacre. The glass which is made up of six individual pieces of glass is fired in a kiln for up to 48 hours, and then a crystal is added in the middle of the star, and a ribbon added. Approx Size: 4" and arrives in a gift bag.
Stars with six points have a deep ancient history that has been connected to many other religions with a range of meanings. In regards to Christianity, the star with six points is known as the Creator's Star (or the Star of Creation).
