"Wild Waves" from our wild atlantic way collection.
Much of my work is inspired by the depths and movement of the ocean and glass represents water beautifully.
Our handmade glass waves are made from layered turquoise, deep blue and crystal clear glass, withĀ a drop of aqua green and dichroic flakes to give it that sparkle. Fired in a glass kiln over three days, the glass wave is then mounted on to a unique organic piece of driftwood found on the coastal beaches of Ireland. We dry out our driftwood naturally over a period of up toĀ two years before it is carefully carvedĀ by hand, we felt the base of the wood, the glass is then moulded Ā into the wood , glued and left to sit overnight, we then use organic recycled candle wax to seal the wood, and give it a slight aromatic scent.

This piece of driftwood was found on a deserted beach in Co.Wexford in 2019.
