Crafted with care in our Gaeltacht-based studio in Galway, each decoration is made from three layers of sparkly opal art and translucent glass. Every piece is unique and cut by hand, layered to create depth, and painted with meticulous detail. A delicate white glass ribbon wraps around the green glass tree, adorned with the Irish greeting “Nollaig Shona” (means...Happy Christmas, in irish) individually hand-painted in black.
This decoration captures the spirit of the season and the beauty of the Irish language. A sturdy metal pin is embedded during firing for easy hanging, while a festive red silk ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch for gifting. It’s an ideal gift for sending warm wishes to family and friends living abroad, sharing a bit of Irish heritage wherever they may be.
Our local artist Kate, fluent in the Irish language, personally hand-paints each glass tree before it undergoes a 48-hour kiln-firing process, ensuring both vibrancy and durability. Bring an authentic touch of Ireland to your holiday celebrations!
